Air Land RegimentEdit

The Air Land Regiments (ALR) are regiments of the Royal Australian Artillery based primarily on sub units from the Air Defence Artillery branch. Each of three Army Corps has administrative control of an Air Land Regiment. As well as dedicated air defence sub-units, the regiments contain Ground Liason units working losely with RAAF and coalition Air Forces to streamline the Air-Ground interaction.

MissionEdit

StructureEdit

Each regiment is structured with a similar organisation. A Regimental HQ and attached HQ Company looks after the overall leaership and administration of the regiment.

Air Defence BattalionEdit

There are two air defence Battalions in each regiment. The Battalions are made up of sensor batteries and missile batteries. One battalion's missile troops will be based around MANPAD teams and light air defence vehicles, whilst the second battalion's missile troops will be equipped with medium ranged missile systems and heavier vehicle units as well.

C-RAM BattalionEdit

In a similar style to the Air Defence Battalions, the C-RAM Battalions are made up of sensor batteries and the C-RAM batteries containing the weapons systems. In addition, each C-RAM Battalion contains an Aerostat Troop, which can deploy with sensors from the sensor troop.
